St. Joseph School offers Extracurricular:

Our Physical Education program is taught by our specialist teacher Mr. Evans.  Whenever possible, sports will be played outside such as cross country running, track and field, California kick ball, and soccer.  Our indoor gym facility is used for volleyball, basketball, gymnastics,  rhythm and movement activities.

St. Joseph's School choir performs at school masses and attends the Chancellor Music Festival.

The students perform in a Christmas Musical every year.

Students are entertained and educated by performances at the school and various theatre and symphony field trips.

 There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with Speech Arts, Spelling Bee and Book Club!
We participate in the Readers are Leaders book trivia contest. 

  The French program at St. Joseph's aims to increase student confidence, proficiency and achievement in French as a Second Language.

French is taught from K-7, with instruction twice a week.  Intermediate FSL students are expected to develop skills in listening, speaking and writing.  The emphasis for the younger grades is on listening and speaking. Reading and writing are developed through these oral skills.

French classes incorporate songs, dialogues and videos to help students improve their pronunciation and skills in the French language.

Students also enjoy visiting performers who lead them in dance, song and activities which highlight Francophone culture.

Afterschool care runs everyday from 3:00 until 5pm.  Cost is $7 per hour.  Monthly rates available.  Registration is available for download at the bottom of this page.

Afterschool care does not run on early dismissal days.
