Principal's Message

The 2018-2019 school year promises to be very successful.  Our theme for the year is What do you want of me Lord?   We at St. Joseph’s are a strong faith community and we have committed ourselves to serving our community every day. I am very pleased to be a part of such an active community and am impressed with the joy that the children bring into the school every day.  Their smiles are infectious and the warmth of St. Joseph’s is apparent from the moment one walks through the door. We as a staff are committed to the academic, social and spiritual growth of each individual student.  We encourage parents to play an active role in their children’s education and we work hard to maintain open communication between the home and school.  We know that, through a close partnership between school, parish, and home, each child can be successful.   So now, my children, I command you, serve God faithfully and do what is pleasing in his sight. (Tobit 14:8-9)

Core Beliefs

Our goal is to be a faith community where all God's people have an opportunity of growing in their faith; and that day-by-day we come to know how much God truly loves his people. It is our hope that parents, students, and teachers together with our pastors will commit themselves to this goal.

  • St. Joseph's School shares in the mission of the Church to proclaim and build the Kingdom of God.
  • St. Joseph's School is a faith community committed to excellence in Catholicity and in all areas that promote the development of the whole child to his or her full potential.
  • St. Joseph's School strives to develop Christian leaders, responsible citizens and life-long learners.

Shared Vision for Our School

Parent Testimonials

St. Joseph’s is a warm, caring, welcoming school community.  It is a diverse, multicultural school that is welcoming of children of all faiths and academic abilities.  St. Joseph’s offers a solid, value based moral education, along with strong core academic foundations.  Also very important to our family, is the focus on the education of the whole child.  In addition to rich exposure to the arts, science and technology and sport, our children have also benefited from participating in environmental education, leadership, out-reach, and social justice initiatives.

St. Joseph’s school is just the right size, where every teacher and every other student knows each child by name.  Older students look out for, assist and nurture younger students.  The teachers, including non-enrolling specialists, are consummate professionals, devoted to their profession and dedicated to the school.  We are very grateful for the countless volunteer hours they have dedicated to the many extracurricular offerings, and the various performances, festivals and special events throughout the year.
